Our Story

Founded on the idea that AI should be legible.

Prismara started in Bangkok in 2019 as a small consultancy focused on data architecture for mid-sized enterprises. The work was straightforward — helping companies clean up their data practices and build pipelines that actually held up under production conditions.

Over time, as organizations began asking about machine learning and AI, the same pattern kept emerging: teams had heard compelling pitches, signed contracts, and ended up with systems they couldn't explain or maintain. The AI was there — but its value was invisible, and nobody trusted it.

That experience shaped what Prismara became. Rather than adding another layer of sophisticated AI on top of shaky foundations, we shifted toward a slower, more deliberate approach: assess what you have, fix what needs fixing, build what you can actually support, and document everything well enough that your own team can take ownership of it.

Today, Prismara works across three service areas — data infrastructure, conversational AI, and ethics and governance — with a shared commitment to making AI comprehensible, not just capable.

Prismara works primarily with mid-sized organizations in Thailand navigating a common challenge: appetite for AI adoption ahead of data readiness. The gap between what organizations want AI to do and what their data infrastructure can support is the central problem we help address.

Our data strategy service is designed to close that gap systematically — beginning with an honest assessment of what currently exists, identifying the most meaningful improvement areas, and producing architecture documentation that survives staff changes and organizational shifts.

Conversational AI development at Prismara centers on function over novelty. A well-designed chatbot that handles a narrow set of tasks accurately is far more useful than an ambitious system that frustrates users with incorrect or confusing responses.
